Rev. John Haynes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma, a Masters in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts in Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Tx. He has served churches in Oklahoma and Texas as Associate pastor and Minister of Education, and most recently served First Baptist Church, Ada, Oklahoma as Associate Pastor of Education and Administration for twenty-five years, from 1993-2017. Rev. Haynes is currently retired and lives with his wife Nancy in Coweta, Ok., where he free-lances as guest speaker and writer. They have two grown children and eight grandchildren.
