II TIMOTHY
Paul’s final letter, penned while imprisoned in Rome, was written to his protégé Timothy. It describes how to live for Christ as both a pastor and a citizen of a broken world. Shortly after this letter was written, Paul was beheaded for his faith.
You will notice the teaching style of T. E. Lee consistently includes these components:
-
- The verse text in Greek (from the Septuagint)
- The verse text in English
- A definition of words from the original language
- An exegesis of the text
- Supplementary quotes by revered theologians
This Study Guide was initially intended as a series of Sunday School lessons and is equally useful for sermon preparation or individual Bible study.
