Ezra
The book of Ezra is generally considered a historical book and explores the reestablishment of the temple and recovery of Jewish worship upon their return from exile. Originally Ezra and Nehemiah were one book, and they are contemporary with the book of Esther. The theme is that God uses anyone who suits his purpose. In this book we see the sovereignty of God in overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
You will notice the teaching style of T. E. Lee consistently includes these components:

- The verse text in English
- A definition of words from the original language
- An exegesis of the text
- Supplementary quotes by revered theologians
